We are excited to announce that CMP Controls Pty Ltd. has successfully acquired the magnetic ballasts and transformer assets of Tridonic’s manufacturing plant in Fuerstenfeld, Austria effective April 30th.
You may recall that Tridonic announced its exit from the manufacture and supply of magnetic control gear on a worldwide basis. However, with CMP’s recent acquisition of Tridonic’s Fuerstenfeld plant, we will be able to continue supplying all customers with the same quality of magnetic ballasts and transformers, which will be made available under the CMP Controls brand.
The plant will be partially transferred to our facility in Melbourne, Australia and we do not foresee any major interruption to the ongoing supply of magnetic lighting control gear, transformers and associated products.
